I hope this message finds you, your team and your loved ones safe and healthy. As businesses continue to reopen and activities increase around the world, I thought I would update you on how The Crosby Group is engaging with our teams and our customers.
Safety at Our Sites
Each of our 20+ manufacturing and distribution sites and our additional offices around the world continue to adhere to a standard set of processes and guidelines to keep our team, their families and loved ones, and the communities in which we operate safe. Several weeks ago we formed a health safety team comprised of operational and safety leaders from around the world that is continually monitoring the rapidly evolving body of knowledge around COVID-19: how it’s transmitted, testing availability, tools and techniques to minimize spread along with CDC, WHO and local guidelines. This team is regularly adjusting and updating our operating standards based on this information to ensure we continue to offer the safest work environment for our team members to serve you.
We recognize that one of the key strengths of The Crosby Group and our products is our people. In keeping with that belief, you can see on our social media accounts a view into the processes and people that stand behind the products we manufacture.
On-site Training and Visits
In March, we paused our in-person trainings due to safety concerns. With safety still in mind, we are selectively restarting our training seminars. If you are interested in in-person training, please reach out to your local contact for The Crosby Group or click here.
Training offered is being evaluated on a safety first basis and will include appropriate social distancing and other safety measures. For those who prefer virtual learning or wish to augment their training programs, we are continuing our popular “Ask the Expert” video podcast series and our User’s Guide for Lifting online course.
For both in-person training and visits, our sales teams will confirm with their host that their attendance is in accordance with current policies and guidelines prior to arriving on site. They will also be prepared to share their travel history and answer any questions you may have.
All of our manufacturing and distribution facilities continue to run and deliver product. We have also been using the past slowdown to streamline our operations and optimize our inventory position. It is great to see all of you getting back to work and product flowing at increasing rates from our plant and warehouses to our incredible channel partners and loyal customers. With the markets opening up, we are prepared for a faster pace of production and look forward to meeting your needs.
